Logitech's G Pro X2 Superstrike redefines gaming with induction-powered clicks
Logitech has unveiled a groundbreaking gaming mouse that does away with traditional microswitches. The G Pro X2 Superstrike promises to change how clicks work by using induction technology instead. Priced at €179.90, it is set to launch officially on February 18, 2026, with some retailers listing it as early as February 16.
The mouse was first announced on January 19, 2026, and is expected to hit shelves in Germany around March 4, according to Coolshop. Pre-orders are already open, with Geizhals listing it from €179.99, while Amazon's delivery date remains unspecified. Post-launch pricing is noted at €162.99, though availability may vary by retailer.
Instead of mechanical switches, the G Pro X2 Superstrike uses Logitech's Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS). This system generates click signals through induction, removing physical feedback while allowing customisation. Users can adjust actuation force and haptic responses via the G Hub software.
The device also features a Hero 2 sensor, capable of up to 44,000 CPI/DPI. However, the G Hub software currently limits preconfigured settings to 3,200 DPI. The design aims to surpass even Hall-effect and TMR keyboards in flexibility.
The G Pro X2 Superstrike marks a shift in gaming mouse technology by replacing microswitches with induction-based clicks. With adjustable feedback and high-precision tracking, it targets gamers seeking customisation. The mouse will be available from February 16 or 18, depending on the retailer, with pre-orders already underway.
