MegaFon and Mail Cloud team up for free data transfers this week

MegaFon has announced a new partnership with Mail Cloud to simplify data transfers for its users. From May 13 to May 19, subscribers will not face mobile data charges when using the service. The move aims to encourage a shift to domestic cloud storage solutions. The collaboration introduces a feature allowing MegaFon customers to transfer files directly from iCloud to Mail Cloud. Users can now download their data from foreign storage without restrictions. This includes photos, videos, and documents stored on international platforms.

Auto-Upload, a new tool from Mail, automates the process by moving files from iCloud without using up the user’s existing cloud storage space. MegaFon has also confirmed that accessing Mail Cloud will not count against subscribers’ mobile data allowance during the promotional period. The company hopes this will make the transition to a Russian-based cloud service smoother for its users.

Mail Cloud is designed to help people preserve and access important memories with ease. The service ensures that files remain available whenever needed, regardless of where they were originally stored. The promotion runs for one week, giving users a cost-free way to migrate their data. MegaFon’s initiative removes barriers to adopting Mail Cloud, particularly for those relying on foreign storage. The offer highlights the company’s push for greater convenience in digital storage solutions.
