Morelos digitizes its tourist offer; seeks to eliminate intermediaries in the sale of services

Morelos Launches Digital Hub to Revitalize Local Tourism Economy

The Morelos state government has launched a new digital platform to support local tourism. VisitMorelos.mx aims to connect businesses directly with visitors and boost the regional economy. Governor Margarita González Saravia introduced the platform as part of the branding campaign Morelos, Mexico’s Springtime. It organises tourism listings by market segment and includes accessibility features for users. Entrepreneurs can manage their own profiles to sell services without intermediaries.

Promotional buses with the campaign’s official branding have also started running along central Mexican highways. Governor González Saravia presented identity plaques to tourism sector representatives during the launch. Federal Tourism Secretary Josefina Rodríguez Zamora described the platform as a major structural change for local businesses. The initiative seeks to provide an immediate economic lift to Morelos. Businesses can now reach consumers directly through VisitMorelos.mx. The campaign also increases visibility with branded transport across the region.
