NCR Atleos Q1 2026 earnings reveal 7% revenue growth and soaring net income
NCR Atleos Corporation has announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2026, showing steady growth across key areas. The company reported total revenue of $1.04 billion, a 7% increase from the same period last year, with nearly three-quarters coming from recurring revenue streams. The company’s net income rose sharply, reaching $22 million for the quarter—a 57% jump compared to $14 million in the previous year. This figure now represents 2% of total revenue, up from 1% in 2025. Adjusted EBITDA also remained strong at $172 million.
Self-Service Banking revenue grew by roughly 12% year-over-year, driven by a 30% surge in ATM as a Service (ATMaaS) and a 23% increase in hardware sales. The expansion of ATMaaS into new markets in Europe and Latin America contributed significantly to this growth. Meanwhile, recycling technology adoption continued to boost hardware orders.
Gross margin for the quarter dipped slightly to 22.4%, down from 23.7% in the prior year period. Network revenue saw modest growth of about 1%, while Allpoint core transaction volumes neared record levels. This uptick was supported by a partnership expansion with one of North America’s largest convenience retailers and a renewal deal with a major neobank.
Operating activities used $9 million in net cash during the quarter, with adjusted free cash flow-unrestricted at negative $13 million. The first quarter of 2026 highlights NCR Atleos’ progress in recurring revenue and self-service banking. With ATMaaS expanding globally and hardware demand rising, the company’s financial performance reflects both growth and operational adjustments. Net income improvements and strong transaction volumes suggest continued momentum in key business areas.
