Ndovu Launches Kibaba Fund to Tackle Market Volatility with Diversified Portfolios
Ndovu, a financial platform founded in 2022, has launched the Kibaba Multi-Asset Special Fund to meet growing investor needs in the region. The fund aims to simplify access to a diversified portfolio while addressing market volatility and inflation through data-driven adjustments.
The Kibaba Fund was developed after five years of research, according to co-founder Radhika Bhachu. She explained that the team studied investor preferences and market conditions before shaping the fund's strategy. The product is now available in both US dollars and Kenyan shillings, catering to local and international investors.
Investors can enter the fund with a minimum of KES250,000 (around US$2,000) for the Kenya Shilling Fund or US$2,500 for the US Dollar Fund. The portfolio includes equities, fixed income, REITs, ETFs, and commodities, offering broad exposure. Regular rebalancing based on economic trends helps manage risk and inflation impacts. Ndovu's broader goal is to modernise fragmented and costly investment markets. Using blockchain technology and regulatory compliance, the platform seeks to create a unified, 24/7 trading environment. The Kibaba Fund specifically targets medium to long-term investors with a moderate risk tolerance, providing a structured approach in unpredictable markets.
The Kibaba Multi-Asset Special Fund is now open to investors, with entry points set for both local and foreign currencies. By combining diversification, active management, and technology, the fund offers a new option for those navigating volatile conditions. Ndovu continues to focus on expanding access while maintaining compliance and innovation.
