Nestlé's 2025 surge: Record sales and a bold Formula 1-KitKat alliance

Nestlé has reported strong financial results for 2025, with sales reaching 89.5 billion Swiss francs—a 3.5 percent rise. The company is now sharpening its focus on high-growth brands while cutting costs in less profitable areas.

Recent moves include a major bond buyback and a new global partnership between KitKat and Formula 1. These steps reflect a broader strategy to boost efficiency and brand strength.

The food giant is doubling down on its most promising products, which now make up nearly a third of total revenue. To fuel this growth, marketing budgets are being shifted away from weaker brands and towards powerhouse names like KitKat. One standout example is the brand's multi-year deal as an official global partner of Formula 1, part of Nestlé's push for immersive brand experiences.

At the same time, Nestlé is tightening its financial position. The company is using its own cash reserves to buy back outstanding bonds, reducing debt and freeing up resources for investment. Looking ahead, it has set an organic growth target of 3 to 4 percent by 2026. Supply chain security is another priority. Nestlé has co-founded the TogetherCocoa Foundation with other industry players. The initiative aims to strengthen cocoa production in West Africa by addressing challenges like extreme poverty and climate vulnerability. A stable supply chain ensures the company can meet demand for its chocolate brands, including KitKat.

Nestlé's latest financial figures show steady progress, with sales up and a clear focus on high-potential brands. The Formula 1 partnership and cocoa sustainability efforts highlight its dual strategy: driving growth through marketing while securing long-term supply chains. The company remains on track for its 2026 growth targets.
