Logistics Alliance: 'Astafyev Terminal' and 'Logoper' Agree to Cooperate

New East-West trade deal accelerates cargo flow via Nakhodka's logistics hub

Astafiev Terminal and Logoper have signed a strategic agreement to boost freight transport along the East-West trade route. The deal aims to speed up cargo deliveries and deepen cooperation between the two companies. Officials believe it will also strengthen Nakhodka’s role as a major logistics centre in Russia’s Far East. The first shipment under the new partnership arrived on the vessel Yuan Rui Ji Yun, carrying 988 containers of general cargo from China. Unloading at Astafiev Terminal reached an efficient rate of 30 containers per hour. The cargo is now being prepared for rail transport to central Russia.

The agreement was formally signed by Ruslan Kondratov, President of Aqua-Resources Group, and Alexander Kakhidze, Head of Fininvest Group. Kondratov highlighted that the collaboration would not only improve delivery speeds but also build a foundation for long-term trade relations. He added that the partnership reinforces Nakhodka’s position as a vital hub for logistics in the region. Beyond operational benefits, the deal is expected to enhance economic ties with China. Both companies see it as a step toward expanding multimodal transport options between Asia and Europe.

The new partnership between Astafiev Terminal and Logoper marks a push for faster, more reliable cargo movement. With the first shipment already processed, further deliveries are set to follow the same route. The agreement also supports broader trade growth between Russia and China.
