New ferry routes launch across Omsk region, boosting rural connectivity
Several ferry routes have begun operating across the Omsk region, connecting key villages and towns. The services aim to improve transport links between rural communities. However, one planned route has faced a delay.
The Izuk Ferry now runs between Tevriz and Alexandrovka. Another route, the Beloyarskaya Ferry, connects Tevriz with Kuznetsovo. Meanwhile, the Nikolskaya Ferry operates between Ust-Ishim and Malaya Bicha.
The Bolsherechenskaya Ferry links Muromtsevo and Bolsherechye. The Ust-Shishovskaya Ferry serves three locations: Tuzakly, Ust-Shish, and Novoyagodnoye. The Borodinskaya Ferry travels between Nagorno-Ayevsk and Borodinka. The Znamenskaya Ferry operates between Znamenskoye and Kachukovo. The Pologrudovskaya Ferry connects Butakovo and Pologrudovo. However, the launch of the Cherlak Ferry has been postponed, with no confirmed opening date yet.
Most of the new ferry services are now active, providing essential crossings for local residents. The Cherlak route remains pending, with authorities set to announce its start date later. The routes cover multiple settlements, improving regional transport options.
