New Open-Source AI Governance Framework Blocks 99+ Compliance Violations

Levels Of Self, led by Arthur Palyan, has launched an open-source framework for AI governance. Called the Nervous System Framework, it aims to strengthen compliance and efficiency in multi-agent AI systems. The tool has already blocked over 99 governance violations in real-world use.

The framework operates as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and is available on npm. It supports 13 autonomous AI agents working across five messaging platforms: Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and web interfaces.

Key features include configuration drift detection, SHA-256 hash-linked audit trails, and automated compliance checks. These functions help businesses maintain strict audit compliance while reducing manual workloads. Early adopters report cost savings of 40–60% by automating repetitive tasks. The release follows NVIDIA's launch of NemoClaw, a multi-agent orchestration framework that validates Levels Of Self's architecture. Industry interest in multi-agent AI systems has grown, with companies exploring ways to streamline governance and improve scalability.

The Nervous System Framework provides tools for audit compliance and operational efficiency. Its ability to detect and prevent violations has already shown results in production. However, independent comparisons with other AI governance solutions remain limited.
