Nizhny Novgorod Launches Miniature Landmark Model Contest for All Ages

An open creative competition called Autoplant in Miniature has launched in Nizhny Novgorod. The event invites residents of all ages to craft miniature models of local landmarks. It is part of a larger project celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Avtozavodsky District.

The contest, titled District Beyond Time, welcomes any resident of Nizhny Novgorod. There are no age limits, and participants can join as individuals or teams. Applications must be submitted online by March 30, though the number of expected entries remains undisclosed.

A seminar for participants will take place on February 25 at 2:00 PM. The session will be held at the Business and Legal Information Center. Those taking part must deliver their finished three-dimensional models to the same location on April 14, between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Models will be judged in two categories: Architectural object and Memorial or other structures. Architectural entries should stand 15–20 cm tall, while memorial structures must be 8–10 cm tall. The best submissions will feature in a unified functional map of the Avtozavodsky District, set to be displayed in 2026.

For more details, organisers have provided a contact number: 435-87-69.

The winning models will form part of a public exhibition in 2026. Participants have until March 30 to apply and until April 14 to submit their work. The competition aims to highlight the cultural and historical significance of the Avtozavodsky District.
