Nizhny Novgorod rolls out four late-night bus routes for summer travel
Nizhny Novgorod is launching four new night bus routes starting June 1. The services aim to help residents travel home safely after late-night outings and events. Buses will run daily throughout the summer months until September 30. The four routes will operate from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM every night. Route No. 150 will connect Upper Pechyora with Schyorbinki Bus Terminal, while Route No. 160 links Komsomolsky Microdistrict to Park Kultury Metro Station. Both lines are designed to serve key residential areas and transport hubs.
Route No. 180 will run between ZKPD-4 and Tsvety Microdistrict, offering a direct connection for late-night commuters. Meanwhile, Route No. 190 will travel from Torpedo Residential Complex to the 'Hero Boat' stop. Together, these routes will link the city centre, popular leisure spots, and major housing districts. The night buses are part of a seasonal initiative to improve public transport accessibility. Officials expect the services to ease travel for those returning from evening activities, festivals, or work shifts.
The new night bus network will remain active until the end of September. Residents will have four dedicated routes to choose from, each running daily during the late-night hours. The scheme is set to enhance mobility across Nizhny Novgorod throughout the summer.
