Novorossiysk launches new trolleybus route to ease commuter struggles
Novorossiysk is set to introduce a new trolleybus route on June 1. The service will link Vidova Street and Shesharis, offering better transport options for locals and workers in the area. Mayor Andrei Kravchenko shared the news on his Telegram channel this week. The route will operate on weekdays, with the first departure from Tobolskaya Street at 8:03 AM. Return trips will leave Shesharis at 4:33 PM. Officials designed the schedule to fit the needs of commuters in the Eastern District.
The decision follows calls for improved public transport in the area. Residents and employees in the district have long faced limited options for getting to work. The new service aims to fill that gap with a direct connection between key locations.
Passengers will be able to use the trolleybus from June 1. The route is expected to ease daily travel for those working in the Eastern District. City officials have not yet announced any further expansions to the network.
