NUFAM 2027 Shifts to Wednesday Start for Stronger Industry Focus
Karlsruhe Trade Fair has revealed new details about NUFAM 2027, the tenth edition of its Commercial Vehicle Fair. The event will now run from Wednesday to Saturday, a shift designed to better meet industry needs. Organisers also plan to attract more professionals from transport, logistics, and skilled trades.
The 2027 fair will take place from September 22 to 25, breaking from the previous Thursday-to-Sunday format. Industry feedback highlighted that the old schedule no longer suited business requirements. As a result, the new Wednesday slot will serve as an extra professional visitor day, focusing on meetings between manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers.
Saturday will keep its place in the programme, with extended opening hours. This day will remain family-friendly while also catering to end-users. The changes aim to strengthen core B2B activities, according to Britta Wirtz, Managing Director of Karlsruhe Trade Fair.
The 2025 edition drew around 430 exhibitors and 24,000 visitors from 37 countries. Sales for 2027 have already begun strongly, with many exhibitors rebooking their spaces. Organisers have also confirmed a push to bring in more specialists from key sectors.
NUFAM 2027 introduces a revised schedule and a sharper focus on industry professionals. The Wednesday start and extended Saturday hours reflect direct feedback from past participants. With early exhibitor commitments, the event is on track for another successful year.
