Oberasbach cracks down on parking to speed up bus route 155

Oberasbach is introducing new parking restrictions on Albrecht-Dürer-Straße to improve bus services. The changes target route 155, which often faces delays due to narrow roadways. Two no-parking zones will be added to keep the path clear for buses at all times.

Currently, parked cars along Albrecht-Dürer-Straße force buses on route 155 to slow down or stop for oncoming traffic. This causes frequent delays, disrupting schedules for passengers. To address the issue, the city administration has proposed two absolute no-parking zones.

The first zone will cover the stretch between the pedestrian crossing and Hufackerweg. The second will begin on the right side, just past the junction with Linder Weg. Both areas will ban parking entirely, ensuring buses can travel without obstruction.

The restrictions will take effect soon, aiming to make route 155 more reliable. By removing parked vehicles, the city expects smoother bus journeys and fewer delays. Passengers should see improved punctuality as a result of the changes.
