OfficeBanao secures $4M to revolutionize India's commercial interiors market
OfficeBanao, a Gurugram-based proptech startup, has raised nearly $4 million in its latest funding round. The investment comes as the company expands its technology-driven platform for commercial office interiors. Founded in 2022, the business has already completed over 200 projects across more than 40 Indian cities.
The round, led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, values OfficeBanao at around $70 million post-money. The fresh capital will support operational growth, tech upgrades, and expansion into new cities.
The company was launched by Tushar Mittal, Akshya Kumar, and Divyanshu Sharma to streamline workspace design and construction. Its platform handles everything from design and procurement to project execution for offices and retail spaces. Revenue has climbed sharply, from Rs 22 crore in FY23 to Rs 138 crore in FY25, with a target of Rs 225 crore for FY26.
As of March 2026, OfficeBanao operates in 12 major cities, including Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, and Chennai. Plans are now underway to enter Tier-2 markets like Ahmedabad, Indore, and Jaipur in the coming years. The latest funding saw participation from Mangum II and Medra Family alongside Lightspeed.
Meanwhile, founder and CEO Tushar Mittal has acquired the equity stakes of co-founders Akshya Kumar and Divyanshu Sharma. Both are leaving the company to pursue independent ventures, marking a shift in leadership structure.
The $4 million funding will accelerate OfficeBanao's push into new markets and strengthen its tech infrastructure. With a growing client base of startups, SMEs, and large enterprises, the company is positioning itself for further expansion. The platform's end-to-end services and revenue growth reflect its rising role in India's commercial real estate sector.
