Primorsky Territory sues contractor over delayed road repairs worth 329M rubles

The Primorsky Territory Transport Ministry is seeking to recover 14 million rubles in penalties from a contractor, having already filed a claim with the Arbitration Court. The dispute centers on payment for repairs to several sections of the Razdolnoe–Khasan road.

Under a government contract, Sevzapdorstroy LLC carried out work on segments of the regional highway (from kilometer 189+930 to 199+090) in Khasansky District. The repairs were to have been completed and handed over to the client—the Primorsky Territory Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure—by November 15 of last year. According to the ministry, the contractor missed the deadline.

As reported by the OPS-Media Telegram channel, court documents indicate that the Transport Ministry believes the contractor "failed to fulfill its obligations properly."

The ministry is now pursuing 14 million rubles in damages. Pre-trial negotiations to resolve the issue proved unsuccessful, leaving the court to adjudicate the case.

The total value of the contract was just over 329 million rubles.
