Meat Exports from Primorye Surge in 2026

Primorye's meat exports soar to record highs in early 2026

From January to March, 63 shipments totaling over 1,600 metric tons were processed—a fourfold increase compared to the same period last year (10 shipments, 409 tons). The bulk of the exports consisted of pork byproducts.

Since the start of the year, Primorye has exported 45 shipments of pork byproducts weighing over 1,200 tons, along with two shipments of beef byproducts totaling 80 tons. Additionally, 16 shipments of frozen pork, amounting to 382.3 tons, were sent abroad.

Of the 63 processed shipments, 32 were produced by local companies in Primorsky Krai, while the rest came from producers in Moscow, Tatarstan, and Dagestan. The meat cargo was shipped through the seaports of Vladivostok and Nakhodka.

Industry experts attribute the rise in exports to growing demand for meat products in foreign markets, as well as expanded logistics capabilities at Primorye's ports. Customs data shows that this positive trend has held steady over the past two months.

The increase in export volumes is driving the development of the region's transport and logistics infrastructure while reinforcing Primorye's role as a key transshipment hub for foreign trade operations in the Russian Far East.
