RegTech Africa 2026 Unites Global Leaders for a Borderless Financial Future

The 2026 RegTech Africa Conference & Expo will take place in Abuja from 20th to 22nd May. Organised under the patronage of Nigeria's Vice President, the event will focus on digital financial systems, cross-border trade, and regulatory innovation. Thousands of attendees from across the globe are expected to gather at the State House Banquet Hall for three days of discussions, networking, and technology showcases.

The conference carries the theme Building Trust, Infrastructure and Policy for a Borderless Economy. It will feature ministerial dialogues, executive roundtables, and investment-focused sessions. A highlight includes the Global Startup World Cup Tournament – Regional Challenge, where African startups can pitch to an international panel for a chance to win a $1,000,000 investment prize.

Partners for the event include the Presidential Committee on Economic & Financial Inclusion (PreCEFI) and the Inter-Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA). Over the past five years, GIABA has pushed for RegTech adoption through initiatives like the 2022–2026 Strategic Action Plan and workshops on digital financial tools in Nigeria and Senegal. The group has also collaborated with the African Union and FATF to strengthen financial inclusion and anti-money laundering efforts across ECOWAS member states.

Sponsorship and partnership opportunities are open to public and private sector organisations, multinational corporations, and tech firms. Registration details and further information can be found at www.regtechafricaconference.com or by contacting [email protected].

The 2026 RegTech Africa Conference aims to unite leaders in policy, finance, and technology. Discussions will explore trusted digital systems, regulatory innovation, and cross-border economic growth. The event provides a platform for networking, investment, and showcasing solutions to shape Africa's financial future.
