Renishaw unveils cutting-edge robotics and automation tech at Automate 2026
Renishaw will showcase its latest robotics and automation technologies at Automate 2026 in Chicago. The event runs from June 22 to 25, with the company’s innovations on display at booth #3853 in the South Building. Among the highlights are new systems designed to boost precision and efficiency in industrial automation.
Visitors will see the U.S. debut of Renishaw’s Robot Calibration System (RCS). This tool allows fast recovery and on-site calibration of robots after collisions or unexpected stops. It aims to reduce downtime and maintain accuracy in automated processes.
The Equator-X dual-method gauging system will also feature at the exhibition. It supports both absolute and comparative measurements, offering flexibility for different inspection needs. Alongside these, Renishaw will present its range of position and motion control encoders. These provide real-time feedback to optimise robotic movement and ensure smooth operation. The company’s technologies cater to various applications, from heavy industrial automation to advanced collaborative robots. Dan Skulan, General Manager at Renishaw Inc., highlighted the company’s commitment to improving uptime, precision, and process reliability. The solutions on display reflect this focus, addressing key challenges in modern manufacturing and robotics.
Automate 2026 will give attendees a first look at Renishaw’s newest systems for robotics and automation. The RCS, Equator-X, and encoder technologies are all set to enhance performance in industrial settings. These innovations aim to help businesses achieve higher accuracy and operational confidence.
