Rock in Rautheim festival expands free bus travel for attendees

The Rock in Rautheim festival returns to Braunschweig’s Rautheim district on May 8 and 9. To help visitors travel smoothly, public transport operator BSVG will expand services on bus line 412 and include free travel with festival tickets. Festival-goers can use their entry tickets as public transport passes within Braunschweig’s city limits (fare zone 40). The offer starts three hours before the event and lasts until the end of service. Only the ticket itself—not the wristband—will count as valid proof of fare.

BSVG will run additional services on line 412, starting at *Reitlingstraße* and stopping at *Hauptbahnhof* and *Rathaus*. Extra buses will operate between 8:38 p.m. and 11:23 p.m. on both festival days. The last line 412 bus will leave *Katholischer Friedhof* at 11:46 p.m. Regular line 412 services will continue as normal, following their usual routes and timetables.

The expanded transport options aim to make travel easier for attendees. Festival tickets will cover bus fares, and extra line 412 services will run during peak evening hours. Organisers advise passengers to check departure times in advance.
