Russia's summer flight schedule takes off with expanded routes and frequencies
Russia's civil aviation sector begins its summer flight schedule today, with changes lasting until late October 2026. Airlines have expanded routes and increased frequencies to meet demand during peak travel months. The adjustments include new domestic connections and international services. Aeroflot Group leads the expansion with over 160 routes in its seasonal schedule. The carrier has boosted flights between Moscow and Far Eastern cities, aligning with summer holidays and school breaks. Frequencies rise on key routes, including Moscow to Makhachkala, Mineralnye Vody, Vladikavkaz, and St. Petersburg, as well as Vladivostok to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and Yakutsk.
S7 Airlines introduces two new domestic routes: Moscow to Kyzyl and Krasnoyarsk to Gorno-Altaisk. It also resumes seasonal flights from Irkutsk to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's FlyOne Asia plans five routes from Tashkent to Moscow and other Russian regions this summer. New international services include Air Serbia's Nizhny Novgorod connection, Kaliningrad flights to Antalya and Yerevan, Krasnodar routes to Antalya and Sharm El-Sheikh, and Zhukovsky's Istanbul service. The top five countries for Russian airlines' international routes remain Uzbekistan, China, Turkey, Thailand, and Egypt. Rosaviatsiya, Russia's aviation authority, will provide updates on its MAX and Telegram channels.
The summer schedule reflects higher demand for both domestic and international travel. Airlines have added routes and increased frequencies to popular destinations. Passengers can track further changes through official Rosaviatsiya channels.
