Stroymontazh DV LLC, a company operating in Nikolayevsky District, has been penalised for environmental violations at its extraction site. The issues included improper storage of hazardous materials and waste, as well as unauthorised parking of heavy machinery in the Levy Uly River valley. Inspectors found fuel and lubricants stored without proper covers or pallets. Waste was also handled and stored incorrectly at the site. Additionally, tractors and vehicles were parked outside designated zones, breaching regulations.
Prosecutors held the company accountable for failing to protect aquatic biological resources. They also cited improper use of the waterbody’s protective shoreline zone. Stroymontazh DV LLC responded by creating a dedicated parking area for vehicles, moving fuel and lubricants to a secure warehouse, and setting up waste containers and septic tanks.
This case follows another recent incident in Khabarovsk, where a timber processing company was found polluting the air. The company has addressed the violations by implementing corrective measures. Authorities continue to monitor compliance with environmental laws. The penalties serve as a reminder of the legal consequences for improper handling of industrial waste and unauthorised land use.
