Sverdlovsk Region Braces for Record Heatwave and Wildfire Risks

Meteorologists forecast abnormally warm conditions in the coming days, with average daily temperatures exceeding seasonal norms by 7 degrees. According to weather services, temperatures will climb to +21°C as early as tomorrow, rising even higher later in the week. No precipitation is expected, though light rain may occur in some areas Friday evening.

The Emergency Ministry (EMERCOM) has urged residents of Sverdlovsk Oblast to exercise extreme caution with fire, as warm weather significantly increases wildfire risks. Ice on the region's northern bodies of water is also melting rapidly, making it life-threatening to venture onto.
