Syktyvkar's Oktyabrsky Prospect reopens ahead of schedule after pipeline work
Oktyabrsky Prospect in Syktyvkar has reopened sooner than expected. The road closed in early June for pipeline work but is now accessible to traffic again. Crews finished a key phase of the project ahead of time. Work on the busy street started on June 6. The main task was assembling a temporary pipeline to maintain hot water supply during construction. KomiTeploEnergo handled the installation and completed it a full day before the planned deadline.
With the pipeline in place, crews moved quickly to restore the road surface. Concrete slabs were laid to make the route passable again. The final asphalt layer will be added later, once the heating network reconstruction is finished.
The early completion means less disruption for drivers and residents. Traffic can now flow normally while the remaining work continues. Final surfacing will take place once the heating upgrades are done.
