Trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria: Faster Delivery - Self-Checkin for Drivers

Trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria upgrades dispatch with real-time tracking and smarter routes

Trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria (TMA) has upgraded its dispatch systems across all four Austrian sites. The new software introduces faster route planning and real-time delivery updates for customers. These changes align with similar improvements already in place at its German sister company, Trans-o-flex Express. The updated dispatch software now calculates optimal delivery routes automatically. It considers predefined factors like traffic, distance, and time constraints. Dispatchers can still adjust these suggestions manually if needed.

Drivers start their shifts more efficiently using a self-check-in module. At a hall terminal, they scan a QR code to confirm their route, while the system verifies loaded shipments against planned deliveries. This reduces delays before departure. Recipients receive detailed notifications in advance, including real-time estimated delivery windows. The software communicates these updates directly, improving transparency for customers. By harmonising IT solutions with Trans-o-flex Express in Germany, TMA ensures consistent service quality. This collaboration also cuts software development costs, as both companies share the same technical framework.

The new system speeds up route planning and provides customers with precise delivery information. All four Austrian locations now operate with the same technology as their German counterpart. The upgrades aim to streamline operations and maintain uniform standards across both markets.
