Unlimit and Decentro Team Up to Simplify Global Payments for Indian Businesses
Unlimit, a global financial infrastructure platform, has partnered with Decentro, India’s leading fintech enabler. The collaboration aims to simplify cross-border payments for Indian businesses looking to expand internationally. Both companies announced the integration of Unlimit’s universal operating layer into Decentro’s systems today.
By 2030, Southeast Asia’s digital economy is forecast to hit $1 trillion, while Africa’s digital payment sector could reach $1.5 trillion. This partnership arrives as global digital trade continues to grow rapidly. The integration allows Indian fintechs and digital platforms to overcome long-standing barriers when scaling abroad. Many struggle with complex regulations and fragmented local payment systems. Now, businesses can process payments through a single platform instead of relying on multiple providers.
Customers will gain access to locally preferred payment methods without setting up separate entities in each market. These include PIX in Brazil, SEPA Instant in Europe, and popular e-wallets across Asia-Pacific. The unified system removes the need for piecemeal solutions.
Irene Skrynova, CEO of Global Payments at Unlimit, highlighted the partnership’s significance. She stated that it provides businesses with a seamless, end-to-end global payments capability. Rohit Taneja, Founder and CEO of Decentro, added that Unlimit’s proprietary technology gives merchants a direct gateway to international markets.
The collaboration also extends Decentro’s cross-border payment reach into new regions and methods. Unlimit’s network supports a wide range of payment options, making global expansion smoother for Indian companies. The partnership between Unlimit and Decentro offers Indian businesses a streamlined way to enter global markets. They can now accept payments through a single system, avoiding regulatory and technical hurdles. As digital economies expand, this integration could help more companies scale internationally with greater ease.
