VTB has expanded its on-demand mobile banking programme across Khabarovsk Territory. The service now reaches over 50 towns and villages, covering 90% of the region's population. In 2025, the bank also increased its staff for the programme by a third to meet growing demand.
The mobile banking initiative allows residents in remote areas to request financial services at their doorstep. Districts like Amursky, Solnechny, and Verkhnebureinsky now have access, along with Komsomolsky, Sovetskogavansky, Vaninsky, and Lazo. Seniors, parents with young children, and those in hard-to-reach locations have found the service especially useful.
In 2025, debit card issuance was the most popular request, with nearly 25,500 cards delivered—a 33% rise from the previous year. Other frequently used services included opening savings accounts and taking out fraud protection insurance. By the end of the year, 8% of all VTB products in the region were arranged through the on-demand programme.
Looking ahead, the bank plans to extend the service to five more towns and villages in 2026. Yevgeny Orlov, VTB's regional head and vice president for Khabarovsk Territory, has overseen the expansion as part of broader efforts to improve financial accessibility.
The programme's growth reflects increasing reliance on mobile banking in the region. With more staff and wider coverage, VTB aims to serve even more communities in the coming year. The expansion follows a steady rise in demand for convenient, local financial services.
