Wiesbaden district councils tackle schools, air quality and leadership next week

Local district councils in Wiesbaden will hold meetings next week to discuss key community issues. Residents can attend to learn about upcoming projects and ask questions about developments in their areas. Each session will cover topics ranging from school expansions to environmental monitoring. The Erbenheim District Council will meet first, on Tuesday, May 5, at 7:00 PM. Topics on the agenda include the expansion of Justus-von-Liebig School to a six-stream system. The council will also review plans for an air quality monitoring station at Bolzplatz, Moabiter Straße.

On Wednesday, May 6, the Kloppenheim District Council will gather at 7:00 PM. Members will deliberate on the election of a new district chairperson. Another key discussion will focus on municipal heat transition planning. Earlier that same day, the Biebrich District Council will convene at 6:30 PM. The meeting will cover the expansion of the WiMobil service area. Additionally, the council will present the ‘(My) Healthy Wiesbaden’ project to attendees.

All three meetings provide an opportunity for residents to engage with local representatives. Decisions made could shape future services, infrastructure, and community health initiatives. Those interested in staying informed are encouraged to attend the relevant session in their district.
