Winter train discounts slash fares on 12 key Central Asian routes

Passenger Transport JSC has introduced winter discounts on Talgo train tickets across 12 popular routes. The offer covers key connections between major cities, including Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Urgench. Travellers can now book reduced-fare journeys until March 2026.

The discounts apply to specific trains and seating options. On the Almaty–Petropavl route (Train No. 105/106), upper berths are available at 25% off. Similarly, the Almaty–Shymkent service (Train No. 11/12) offers a 25% reduction on tourist-class '2D' seats. The Astana–Kyzylorda route (Train No. 65/66) also features discounted upper berths.

Discounted fares are limited to departures on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Tickets can be purchased through the official website, bilet.railways.kz, or at railway station ticket offices. For additional details, passengers can call the customer service line at 1433.

The promotion aims to make travel more affordable on busy connections during the winter season. With savings available on multiple services, passengers have until March 2026 to take advantage of the reduced prices. The offer covers both domestic and cross-border connections.
