Wolfsburg's mobiSTATION upgrades near completion with green and transit improvements

Several mobiSTATION projects in Wolfsburg are nearing completion. The sites in Vorsfelde and Brandenburger Platz are already finished. Work continues on other locations, with improvements to pedestrian pathways and green spaces underway. The mobiSTATION at Dresdener Ring in Westhagen has seen progress on its eastern side, up to the central island. Underground work is still ongoing on the western side to enhance pedestrian access and introduce green areas. Preparation for the new station at this site is also in full swing.

In Fallersleben, an intelligent irrigation system has been installed, using water collected from the roof of a bus shelter. The existing parking lot north of the train station has been upgraded with green islands. Construction is advancing on the Pocket Park, additional parking spaces, and charging infrastructure east of the current lot.

Work on the mobiSTATION in Westhagen and Fallersleben is expected to finish before the summer break. A branded signpost, an e-scooter parking area, and a bike repair station will soon be added to the south side of the station. The mobiSTATION network is expanding across Wolfsburg. Completed sites are already in use, while others will be ready in the coming months. These upgrades aim to improve transport links and add green features to urban spaces.
