Women lead Vladivostok's real estate boom with distinct housing priorities

A recent study by FSK Region has revealed key trends among real estate buyers in Vladivostok. The analysis highlights who is purchasing homes and what factors influence their decisions. Women, particularly those aged 31 to 45, dominate the market in both comfort-class and business-class segments. FSK Region examined the preferences of homebuyers in Vladivostok. The findings show that most clients in the business-class category prioritise landscaped surroundings and easy transport access. Meanwhile, those opting for comfort-class properties focus on favourable purchase terms and move-in-ready finishes.

Safety and privacy remain critical for all buyers, with gated courtyard areas receiving special attention. The study also found that the majority of clients have one or two children, shaping their housing needs.

Roman Kapinos, First Deputy CEO of FSK Region, shared insights on the results. Women are leading the demand, often initiating purchases to expand living space or improve their quality of life. Their influence spans both comfort-class and business-class markets. The report confirms that women aged 31 to 45 are the primary drivers of real estate purchases in Vladivostok. Their priorities—space, safety, and convenience—reflect broader trends in the local housing market. Developers and sellers may now adjust their offerings to better meet these demands.
