Arnsberg motorway bridge parking closes for 20 months of renovations

The city of Arnsberg has announced that the commuter parking spaces beneath the motorway bridge near the town hall will soon be closed by Autobahn GmbH. The affected areas include parking bays on both sides under the bridge at the "Neheim-Süd" exit. Warning signs will be installed shortly. The closure of the commuter parking spaces will remain in effect from April 23 to December 16, 2026. The measure is necessary due to upcoming renovation work on the motorway bridge, which will be carried out by Autobahn GmbH.

Alternative Parking Options

The city of Arnsberg urges commuters to take note of the impending closure. Vehicles parked in the restricted area during the closure period will be towed at the owner's expense for safety reasons. Drivers are advised to use alternative free parking facilities during this time. The following nearby parking areas are available at no charge: the Park & Ride lot at Neheim-Hüsten train station, the public parking lot at "R-Café" on Dicke Hecke, the Riggenweide fairgrounds (Kirmesplatz) in Hüsten—available when no events are taking place—and the public parking lot at Sport-Sole-Park in Hüsten.
