GoVolta expands European rail with new Amsterdam-Paris and Berlin routes by 2024

GoVolta is boosting its European rail services with major route changes and expansions. From July 1, the Amsterdam-Berlin line will see six weekly connections, while a new daily Amsterdam-Paris service launches on December 14. The company is also adjusting stops and issuing bonds to support its growth plans. The Amsterdam-Berlin route will expand significantly from July 1, increasing to six weekly services. By December, it will operate daily, with a new terminus at Berlin-Spandau starting June 14. The journey time is expected to drop below eight hours after autumn adjustments, including stops in Braunschweig and Magdeburg.

Tickets for the new Amsterdam-Paris route are now on sale, with prices starting at €19. This daily direct connection, launching December 14, aims to challenge existing cross-border rail options. Meanwhile, the Amsterdam-Hamburg service will end in July as part of the reshuffle. Further changes in autumn will add stops in Hilversum and Apeldoorn on the Amsterdam-Berlin route. To fund these expansions, GoVolta has issued a €1.5 million bond, building a community of travellers while financing future growth.

The expanded services will offer more frequent and faster connections between key European cities. The Amsterdam-Paris route introduces a budget-friendly alternative, while the Amsterdam-Berlin line gains improved scheduling. These moves mark a push for greater competition in cross-border rail travel.
