MAN TGE van celebrates 10 years of innovation and strong sales

MAN Truck & Bus is marking a decade since the launch of its TGE van. The model first appeared at the IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hanover in 2016. It was designed to expand the company’s range into vehicles weighing between 3.0 and 5.5 tons. Series production of the TGE started in spring 2017 at the Września plant in Poland. The platform quickly proved versatile, serving as the base for mobile diagnostic vehicles, as well as passenger models like the MAN TGE Coach and MAN TGE Intercity.

By 2023, production had exceeded 100,000 units. Sales remained strong, with over 30,000 vehicles sold in 2025 alone. A major update, named 'Next Level', arrived for the 2025 model year, introducing a new electronic architecture and advanced driver assistance systems.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary in 2026, the company has released a special '10 Years Edition' for order in select markets. The model has also gained recognition, winning 'Sustainable Van of the Year 2026' from Italian publisher Vado e Torno Edizioni. The TGE van has grown into a key part of MAN Truck & Bus’s lineup. Its adaptability, strong sales, and industry awards highlight its success. The anniversary edition and recent upgrades mark its continued evolution.
