A new seasonal train route will connect Astrakhan with the popular Black Sea resort of Sirius this summer. The service, numbered 465, begins operations on May 27, offering residents a direct link to southern holiday destinations. Train No. 465 will depart Astrakhan at 10:45 p.m. and arrive in Sirius at 9:04 a.m. the following morning. The return journey leaves Sirius at 8:59 p.m., reaching Astrakhan at 9:00 a.m. two days later. This schedule allows travellers to spend a full day at their destination before heading back.
The service will run every other day until September 29, catering to summer holidaymakers. Along the way, it will stop at key stations such as Volgograd, Krasnodar, Tuapse, Sochi, and Adler. These stops provide easy access to some of the Black Sea’s most sought-after coastal resorts. In addition to the direct route, residents of Astrakhan Oblast can also reach Sirius via transit trains from Novokuznetsk and Orsk. Railway operators have expanded these connections in response to rising demand for travel to southern destinations.
The launch of Train No. 465 adds a convenient option for those travelling between Astrakhan and Sirius. With multiple stops and a regular schedule, the service aims to meet the needs of summer tourists. Passengers can now book trips to the Black Sea coast with greater ease.
