Maritime travel between Sochi and Sukhum has restarted after a break. The high-speed vessel Kometa now operates on updated days and times, offering a new schedule for passengers. The route between the two cities reopened on May 15. Initially, trips ran on Tuesdays and Fridays, but the schedule has since changed. Now, departures will take place on Fridays and Sundays instead.
Passengers can board the Kometa from Sochi at 9:00 AM. The return journey from Sukhum leaves at 5:00 PM. A one-way ticket is priced at 2,800 rubles. The revised timetable aims to provide more convenient travel options for those crossing between Sochi and Sukhum. With fixed departure times and a set fare, the service offers a predictable way to travel by sea.
